Hello..
I am wanting to learn about splash dogs so I can train my black lab, Guido. I am very interested in this sport for two reasons, 1 my Guido loves to fetch, jump and water and my 9 year old son has cerebral palsy. My son wants to belong to a sport but because of his disability he is unable. However, splash dogs will be great for him because he has strong upper extremites but he can't run and has weak legs.
Can anyone offer any advice on getting started?
Thank you for all of your help!!

Welcome to the splashdog family. You couldn't find better people to help introduce your family to the sport of dock jumping than Jim and Sandra. Look forward to meeting you at and event soon.

Hi Everyone!
I'm also near Auburn (Sacramento) and want to get involved but I'm not sure how. My dog, Dakota, did practice at the event in Sacramento last weekend and he LOVED it! How does Splash Dogs work? Is there are facility to practice at in Auburn? Do I "join" the Auburn club? If so, how do I do that?

Your son is going to love this sport and so will the rest of your family.
Looking forward to meeting you both Diane and Shannon....
