Ok...the end of April should work. I have relatives in Punta Gorda now that we will visit when we are there also.
Any idea what the times are for the jumps??

Splash Dogs is doing the Redfish cup!
I'm going to add it to the calendar as soon as I'm back from an appt this afternoon.
I'm going to also then work on coordinating the schedule with tony and the redfish cup people.
Not sure on the mats - I'll check (I think we're using redfish cup's equipment, not splash dogs).

So I don't have to find a map (this silly computer of mine is too slow). Glad they are using Splash Dog equipment.
Where is Punta Gorda? Maybe in the Panhandle? [that'd be good]
Jake - will there be SV? ;)

Thanks Muddy Paws!!
I'll just crank up the private jet. Lizzie finally finished her co-pilots license so we are good to go. NOT
It was remotely possible if it were in the panhandle.

Yes, that is quite a ways from Texas. We've driven from Orlando in one day and it was the pits (to San Antonio). This would be a long 2 days drive each way. If it had been in the panhandle, I may would have thought about it and we could have carpooled.

Lori and her Catahoulas are headed to Punta Gorda, We are gonna car pool down which will leave me more money for beer. Will there Be SV and more importantly will there be Gentleman Jack. just found out Marty and Marge are in, who knows maybe all the Georgia air dawgs coming, I smell a rematch!

How about SV before finals on Sunday or Saturday morning or evening, will that interfere with Redfish? Friday would be hard day for a lot of people to make for SV! Just a suggestion!!! but where ever you can fit it in!!! We LOVE SV!!!!

I agree with Deanie Sunday is best for SV for me, there is rumor of a demo at the other event on Saturday and any time I can get on a different dock with Pepper is good time

Count Team Sally in on this one!! We'll definitely be there. Bill and Spud will have to stay home and guard the fort, but Sally and Nancy will be jumping in Punta Gorda. Well, actually, Sally will be the only one jumping, but you get the drift.
I'm from Ft. Myers, so this will be like coming home for me. I've contacted some of my family, and they will be coming to the event to cheer Sally on!!!
Can't wait.........

Saturday - 11:30-12:30 open practice dock, 1:30 wave 2
sunday - 10-11 wave 3, SV from 12-12:45, 2-3 finals
I'm leaving town for the weekend, will post and update and hopefully open registration when I'm back sunday night or monday morning.

Cool Rob, We can do a demo for them.... for the right price (Hee Hee) I will definetly be there every dock is different to Pepper(as we all know) So Sat demo and Sunday our first Red Fish cup. Rob it should be a great chance for midnight, what time are you jumping in O-town. The Florida crew needs to bring all of their Verta Dawgs(its a Georgia thing) to this event.

Countin down the days, countin them down! Casco is ready . . . if I can just throw that ball right she should give us all a good show . . . and she is cute! We are going to break out the chase for cancer k9 jacket that Sandy Goodlabs gave us in Gonzales; who else wants to wear it that weekend? If your dog is crowd friendly, it is a very rewarding experience for all. Think about it and let me know. I recommend doing it after the dog jumps....... in like group one of a wave ......the kids go nuts and come running to see your dog with cash to stick in its jacket. And you know how we all like to compete! Who's dog is the best at raising the most cash??????????????? I bet Casco wins, $20 bucks, if we win, money goes to Chase. Any takers?

My Katie would love to wear the vest! And I will be glad to be in on the bet. She is quite the charmer and loves to work a crowd! She can make the grumpiest person smile. She is not much of a jumper but I was planning on bringing her for moral support for Dexie so she will be thrilled to have job to do!

We will get someone to handle that boy, I think I might be a prime canidate, for the simple fact we will probably come in around 6six or 6eight Let me know. I think Deanie or Cristen might be interested too. What about Christine We gotta get her involved. Nancy or Lori might be willing too from up here. Like I said we will get him jumped. We will be jumping Friday/Saturday in O-town for Vertical and then Sunday we will head down to Punta Gorda. This will be some fantastic trainning for Pepper to get ready for Crown and Worlds. Cant wait to see ya'll.

If this event was just a couple of weeks later, I think Spud would be there jumpin'... We had a good day at our "new" practice dock. It needs a little work, but we're gettin' there.
http://www.georgiaairdawgs.com/dock__060.jpg
Sally has really taught Spud a lot about having fun in and around the water. His athletic abilities are really developing!
http://www.georgiaairdawgs.com/dock__072.jpg
After several dozen jumps from the dock, Spud and Sally were still begging to retrieve something. So, out came the "chuck-it" and tennis balls! They had a blast retrieving the ball away from the dock! Hard to physically whip these two puppies!

Ol' Spud's a keeper!
