So, lately I've seen lists of the most popular dog names in the united states.

I decided to see what the most popular splash dogs names were!

1) Bailey (by an overwhelming margin)
2) Max

5) Maggie

we have had 55% male dogs compete, 45% females

50% of our competitors were labs
13% were "Other"
7% are goldens
6% are border collies
3.5% are chessies

We're the other Makena! We named him after a beach in Maui, Hawaii........that's where Gil and I were married......(aahhhhh!)

Cool! My story isnt as interesting, I stole her name from a former client. I thought it was a really unique name, then it fit my new pup. Now I have another reason to visit Hawaii!!
