wanted: rescue
 

Hello all,

I had to put my beloved dog Rocky to sleep today after a long battle with Cushings and Diabetes. I know that soon I will be ready to offer a home to another dog. In fact, sometimes it is the only way to heal and I am worried about my remaining dog. I am looking for a small dog (less than 25 pounds), pure bred or mixed breed, of less than 2 years of age, who gets along well with other dogs. Rocky was a Min Pin, as is my other dog, so I have a preference for that breed but I'm open. I can deal with high energy dogs. I'd prefer not to have a puppy since my other dog is in his geriatric years. I am located in Colorado, just moved in April, so I am not familiar with all the rescue groups. Both my dogs were rescues.
