Splash Dogs Message Board - Catahoula/Catahoula Mix? in need of a forever home

I have what looks like a Catahoula in a foster home in need of a forever home (foster mom is heading off to college soon). He looks like Pepper - the one who just jumped 27'11" in SLC. He is about a year old and was recently neutered. He gets along with horses, cats and other dogs and children. Whoever had him cut off his ears and tail - we believe to prep him to be a fight dog. He was very shy but in foster care has really started to shine. He needs a home where he will be a genuine part of the family as he has a lot of love to give - and with the progress he has made socializing we would love to see him continue to develop. He does need a home that understands this breed.
