PS Tucker is the name of my Black Lab...

I am new as well and live right by Pearland and wanted to give the event a shot with my BC just for fun. She will only be 6 months old at the event, but as she is too young to do agility for a while longer...I wanted to try this out "to get her feet wet"

Any info would be WONDERFUL..I need to know how to do the initial training.

The event is in Pearland the end of March. Please feel free to bring your dogs out. Between the waves, you will have an opportunity to try your dog at the sport. For $10.00 you will get dock practice and if you decide to jump, the $10.00 will go towards the wave. To participate in a wave, the fee is $20.00. It is lots of fun. We are in San Antonio and have participated in 1 SplashDog event in Garland in October and had a blast.

COme on out. If you go to the Events and look at Pearland event it will give you the specifics as to where. It is in Independence Park in Pearland. I think they will be set up on Friday, maybe, for practice. But I know between each wave, there will be practice time. THat is usually about an hour, depending on the number of entries per wave.

SO come on out and lets get this sport big in Texas.

YESSSS.... I have an idea, maybe all those that are from the Houston and neighboring area can all get together at the Event and see just what it would take to get a local club started. There seems to be an increasing interest, so lets "Git er Done".
