Give CHANCE a CHANCE
 

After reading the "about us" section on the splash dogs main page, I was glad to read that more events had been brought to the west coast in past years... However; after going over the list of upcoming events and locations, I was extremely disappointed in the lack of events in Southern California. There is ONLY ONE event in Orange County...and no events in in San Diego...in order to go to more than one event this year for everyone in Orange and San Diego Counties, we have to drive anywhere from 4-8 to even 10hrs... I don't know about anyone else, but the gas prices lately have definitely taken their toll on my checking account. It's just disappointing that my 2yr old lab chance wont get her chance to jump in more than one event this year because there aren't enough events close enough to home. Its weird too, I mean c-mon...sunny Southern California? Home of some of the best aquatic events year round...and there's only a hand-full of events for our dogs to get into. There are countless parks, venues, and human events to attach a splash dogs event to...why don't we? I think there should be an event in EVERY MAJOR Coastal town/city along the entire coast from Washington to the Mexican border.
