Question about Reno, Nevada events

There are two Reno events:
Tamarack Junction Summer Solstice and NV State Fair.

I want to choose one, but because I will be traveling with some friends, I want them to be entertained by the event...

Wendy, can we count American Pit Bull Terrier and American Staffordshire Terrier as one? Technically, it is the same dog. My dog goes by both, depending on a situation :))
