The directions on the site above send you past Prado Dog Park and to Prado Regional Park. Prado Dog Park entrance is the first Right you can make after exiting highway 71. If you stay in the right hand lane from 71 you will drive right into the Dog Park.

Here is the link to Prado Dog Park where the pond and dock are located. It will be a bit befoe we will have the pond filled and dock up and running.
Everyone is free to stop by and look, there is a fee to get into the dog park $15 or $10 if you are going there for an event like the Retriever Hunt Test this weekend. The cost covers a married couple and two dogs. Children under 16? or 18? are free with adults. The area is 585 acres and has several ponds and and a bunch of fields (DO NOT Drive thru the fields!) The entire park is leash free, but do not let your dogs get out of control, people are training there and do not want dogs running up to them or there dogs while they are training. WATCH for Dogs while driving!! Drive very very slowly anywhere you can see people or cars! Dogs may be loose in the entire park and may be working up to a 1/4 mile away from the Handler! We often run our dogs across roads in the park! If you see a person or two in a field they are probably using the Whole Field, be courteous and do not let your dogs (NO Matter How Friendly) run up on other people or dogs! If you want to talk to someone feel free to, they are very friendly and will help you but please aproach people with out your dogs first. If you wish to watch a test or training it is best to wear dark or camo clothing.
This is an amazing place and and very wide open. It is going to be very busy there this weekend! normally weekends are nowhere near as busy as this weekend.
The directions on the site above send you past the dog park and to the regional park, the dog park you turn East at the first intersection past after you get off highway 71. This is where Euclid avenue turns from 2 lanes to one. The park is on the south east corner of Euclid (Butterfield Ranch) and Highway 71.
