Hi everyone. I'm new to dock diving. I saw my first competition last June, and I've wanted to try it with my Border Collie ever since! I've finally got a pool this year (small, but a pool none the less
) and am hoping to take the plunge into a trial sometime soon.
I have a couple questions, though. Are there any training clubs in the south Alabama area? Are there any trials going on in the June/July/August/September time frame in this area? Any advice for a first timer? My dog has jumped off a dock before and swam in a pool before, but never jumped off a dock AND jumped in a clear pool before. He loves to swim and he *loves* to retrieve.
