Sandra, tell them to go to 'High Sierra Animal Rescue.org". there is a 6 year old mostly lab (black, etc). Named Bosco. This is where I got Tinka from, they are in Portola, Ca. They get 'older' dogs ( and young too) and they keep them until they find them homes. Also they will always take them back - if something in the future happens  .
