We have to watch Twizzy in the water - he takes in a lot of water every time he swims or jumps. When I first got him into the water his breeder mentioned water toxicity as his Dad nearly died from it. The breed has a short neck and well it's hard to hold up a bowling ball of a front end.

If your dog takes in a lot of water when they swim put them in a life vest with the under the neck float strap - it keeps their jaw line above the water so they don't take so much in.
