Default optimal size of pool and dock & other rules and regs

Has splashdogs adopted standardized rules and regulations to help standardize the industry? Please update the 2009 rules page which is currently blank, thanks. It would be helpful to include such minutia as dimensions of pool and dock and if there is an optimal water temperature (hey, why not?).

Dockdogs "sanctions" a 40 x 20 pool with a 35-40 ft dock and makes it very difficult to find an "affordable" indoor space to accommodate such a MONSTER and clearly overkill. I saw somewhere on your site that your pool is 25 ft. long? How could that be possible when splashdogs says the lab record is 26 ft and others report jumps of up to 30 ft... are you measuring jump distance from the tip of the nose or base of tail? I have seen both methods used. Dockdogs measures to the base of the tail which makes sense for a longer pool.

There must be a happy medium between a 40 x 20 and a 25 x ? ft pool. How "wide" is your 25 ft pool??? What are the dimensions of your dock?

I would like to start a club too and would like to conform to some standardized rules and regulations rather than reinvent another wheel, thanks.

Exact set-up as the other organization measuring the base of tail with a much more precise computer system. 40' pool x 8' wide, 40' dock x 4' wide. Water temp. is what comes out of the hose and what the weather condition is like in the area will also determine the water temp.
