Hey! Newbie here! My 11 month of Lab, Guinness, loves to jump in the water but has never had the chance to jump off a dock! I think he'll love it! Anyone know of a place here in the Delta that meets for Dock Dogs? Or anyone wanting to start a meet up here?

Google Bethany Reservoir and see if this is close to you. It's roughly on the ourskirts of Livermore, Mtn.House, Tracy and possibly Brentwood. Our club (BADD, Bay Area Diving Dogs) has had a practice there and we go out there ourselves fairly often. It's a resevoir that has a dock and has very little useage........a boater now and then, maybe a fisherman here and there and there is picnic tables and restrooms there also. There is also a dock in Redwood City, but that would be quite a bit of a distance for you. Hope this helps.

Thanks! I'll look that up.. We were thinking of going to Orwood Resort in Brentwood.. But if there is a better place where there aren't as many boats that would obviously be much better!

I know this is short notice, but we will be going out there tomorrow (Thurs) to do some jumpin' around 4:30............anyone is welcome to join us.

Yup I didn't get that in time! Could you email me the next time you guys meet out there?! I took Guinness to Sugar Barge Marina today for the first time and he seems to want to jump but is scared, he only jumped once on his own! I think if he sees other dogs jumping he won't be so intimidated! He goes into the water no problem but only if he can walk into it.. Sometimes he'll leap off the rocks if there are any.. Anyway! If anyone is going out to the docks around here could you email me when?!
