"Dance on the Dock" Challenge!!!
Hi all,
While we can't be at the dock this Saturday and Sunday, we would like to announce the 2010 Dega "Dance on the Dock" Challenge and we need other teams to help us out. Naika will donate $10 _per wave_ for the competitions on Saturday and Sunday toward the K-9 Cancer non-profit of Ms. Talla Dega's choice. Naika and Dega learned to jump together and are girlfriends forever. You all may or may not know, but I lost the GSD girl that I had before Naika very suddenly to K-9 cancer (hemangiosarcoma) at a young age. With every wave that Naika and I jump we hope to help in our own small way to help cure K-9 cancer so that other dogs and handlers will not have to experience the same heartache in the future. What we need for this weekend and other jumps this year is for other teams to step up to the "Dega Dance on the Dock" challenge and match our Challenge with sponsors or donations... Well, looks like there were close to 100 views here...
Many of us have lost dogs ourselves and known others whose dogs have made it through for now... We need all of the help that we can get to find a cure for K-9 cancer... Who else is on this team? Louise
