This is going to be one terrific event!

Kool April Nites in Redding is a classic and custom car show, and there shouldn't be any racing engines or loud noise. There will be a "cruise" down Hilltop Drive Friday night, April 7 from (I think) 6 to 9 PM. Hilltop Drive will be closed, so if you are staying in that area on Friday night, you will have a problem getting to your hotel until the cruise ends. On Saturday and Sunday the cars are generally sitting on display at the Convention Center. There should be about 15,000 people per day on Sat and Sun coming through the area per car show organizers. Redding is a fairly small community, and Kool April Nites is one of the events that everyone in town shows up for. We plan to have a nice crowd. Pancake Breakfast on Sat & Sun AM starting at 6 AM (?) at the Convention Center. 50's dances and music on Friday and Saturday night. Lots of fun. Check the Kool April Nites website for more information and schedule of events.

You will be in close proximity to our famous Sundial Bridge and Turtle Bay Museum. This event is going to be in a very nice area, lots of things to see and do.

I can't stress enough how important it is to pre-register, because parking will be an issue. If you pre-register, Ralph and I will send you your parking pass. Be sure we have time to get it to you in the mail. If you forget and leave anything at all home, don't let it be your parking pass. Otherwise you may need to walk a long way to get in. The passes are limited. NOTE: The only parking issues will be on Saturday. Sunday you can drive into the area without a pass, so no problem. If you have only registered for a Sunday wave, we won't mail a pass.

Directions to Redding Convention Center for Kool April Nites and Dock Jumping Competition:
From I-5, take the 299 West Exit and follow the signs to Convention Center and/or Auditorium Drive.Go North on Auditorium Drive--the show is right there. We are to the left. Look for the flying dogs.

Kool volunteers will assist you in finding our Splash Dogs Dock Jumping Competition.
