Default New game @ Katrina Splash

To much timeTook the second half of the day off yesterday!! Had to do some last minute school shopping. While the kids were shopping I was on the prowel for event gifts!!and came up with lots of new gifts!!This is getting to be alot of fun!!!
We now will be having a Tennis ball fetch
Here is the Idea:
--------------------
Taking Cera's idea from last year a step further:

Everyone will get a chance to purchase a tennisball and receive a number. Gifts will all be numbered(randomly). The numbers will then be put into a hat. All numbered balls will then be thrown into the Splash Pool. The numbers will drawn. If your number is drawn your pup gets to jump in and retrieve a ball. The number on the ball will be the prize you win. Also as it goes on and someone has one of the prizes you wanted you have the opportunity to offer your number (before you jump)to that person for their prize and they get another jump with your number.
We now have gifts that include:
G-loomis Steelhead Rods,
Lamiglass Rod
Weekend lodging at LongBeach
Dinner comps from, Red Lobster, RedRobin, TGIF, Azteca, Applebee's, Chevy's, Beaches, HooSong&Larry's, Joes Crab Shack, Red Lion Inn with overnight stay accomidations, Sweet Tomatoes, Garlic Jims, Bacchus, Smokehouse grill,
Plus others,
18 hole'e at Cedars country club,
9 holes at Meadows golf
Lots of Auto oil changes,
Truck bed Liner(the rubber spray on not the hard stuff) from Rhino liners,
Lots of Dogfood & Dog supplies
The list goes on!!!!
I will have a total list of all gifts at weeks end!!
Plus a silent Auction for the BIG ONE!!
Looking for some feedback on the Tennisball Idea, think it may eat up to much time?

Brian,

This event is sounding like alot of fun! I think the tennis ball fetch game sounds like a great idea. I'm sure that with 3 docks and plenty of help, there would be lots of time for fun games like this

I'm very happy to be a part of it

Cya soon!!!

Sounds like good fun! Now, I have a logistical question that will probably apply to many peoples' dogs. Kona, if given the chance to jump in the pool to retrieve a ball where there are many balls, he will, without fail, come out of the pool with more than one ball in his mouth (guaranteed he will not exit the pool until he has his mouth sufficiently filled - in fact, his head may explode before ever getting out for lack of ability to get all the balls in the pool). So, if a dog comes out with more than one ball, then what? LOL :-)

Then we all sit around and drink a cold one until Kona picks his favorite one(without assisted help).
