Hello Sacramento Dock Jumpers!

I may have found us a location with a dock for our dogs to practice. The Homeward Bound Golden Retriever Sanctuary has a pond and a dock. The president of the organization has invited me to bring Murphy to the sanctuary and discuss using their dock for us to practice.

Murphy made his first jump this weekend at Cal Expo and wants to jump as much as he can, so I'm hot on the trail of a location for him to use.

If you are still interested in jumping in the Sacramento area, please write back and let me know.

Hi,
I've got a 6 year old Flat Coated Retriever who we recently adopted. I don't know if she's ever done Dock Diving (her previous owner passed away) but she loves retrieving and we'd like to try Dock Diving.
Questions:
1. Should she take a 'lesson' before coming out to the practice area? If so, any tips on where we could do that?
2. When are you planning to get started?

I have an 11th month old lab that is ball and water crazy. We took her to Lincoln city, OR when she was 6 months old and she was jumping off the boat dock for her ball. I would love to give her the opportunity to do what she enjoys. Please keep me posted if you find a place to practice and I'll be there with her.
