Hi,
I am taking my dog, Sydney, to the Colorado Outdoor Expo and I am hoping that someone can answer a few questions for me. I was told that the jumps at the Expo can qualify a team for the Cynosport games but I do not know exactly how it works. Do you have to earn a title? Do you have to make it to the finals? I'm only pre-registered for two waves so I would like to have a better understanding of the requirements before the event. Any information that you can give me would be greatly appreciated!! If this will be one of your few events throughout the year, it may benefit you to jump as many qualifying waves as possible. To qualify for worlds, you must log five competitive jumps in order for Splash Dogs to form an average. All classes of dogs have their own finals at worlds. You will qualify for worlds in which ever division your five jump average places you in. It is explained much better under the rules section off of the main page. Only one jump per wave counts towards your average. There is always additional qualifying waves the week before worlds at the same event if you come up a few short. Finals at qualifying events have nothing to do with qualifying for worlds. You do not have to make the finals in Co.
