Yes he is a Pit but........

I work closely with our animal shelter and we have a 9 year old Pit in need of a home. He has been with us for 3 months now and really is a sweet dog. It breaks our hearts to think of putting him down but....... His owner abandoned him. He has been taken care of by our volunteers and we can tell you that he is a good dog. He would be best as an only dog. He was accustomed to being a house dog as proven by when he went straight up on the furniture in our volunteers house. I know Pit Bulls have a bad reputation but I believe that he is one of the good ones. He was never neutered but that can be taken care of at any time when we find him a home to live his days out in. We affectionately call him Jethro and he just wants someone to hang out with. Any help is appreciated.
