Announcing: The Dog Cancer Ride Across America "TWO"

A Charity Fundraiser to Help Sick Dogs get the Cancer Care they Deserve...
From Portland, Oregon to Los Angeles, California
(July 1, 2009 - 1,329 miles - August 2, 2009)

Last summer, I rode my bicycle 4,231 miles from the Pacific to the Atlantic, to raise money to help dog owners pay for dog cancer care they couldn't otherwise afford...

The ride was a great success... We raised about $16,000, added over 150 dogs to our "Map of Heroes," and made a huge difference for dozens of dogs (and their owners) who needed our help to fight this cancer battle.

But as wonderful as it was, I know there's so much more we can do to help these dogs... My dream is to raise $100,000 for dog cancer charities - an amount that will make a huge difference for these dogs in need. So while I'm thrilled with everything we've accomplished, I know there's more work to do - and I can't stop riding until, together, we reach our goals.

Which is why this summer, I'm back on my bike, and back on the road, for The Dog Cancer Ride Across America TWO (the West Coast Swing) to make a difference in the life of these amazing dogs (and these amazing dog owners) who so desperately need our help. Won't you please join me...

This summer I'm riding my bicycle from Portland, Oregon (where my dog Marty the Wonderdog lost his life after a valiant 18-month battle with cancer) to Los Angeles, California (where Marty was born) - a 1,329 mile pilgrimage to honor his memory, promote dog cancer awareness, and raise money for 3 wonderful charities that help dog owners pay for dog cancer care they couldn't otherwise afford.

For "Dog Cancer Ride Across America TWO" I need your help...

Because only by working together can we get these innocent dogs the care they so desperately need, to give them the chance they so lovingly deserve.

Go to The Dog Cancer Ride Website (www.DogCancerRide.com) to learn more about the ride and the charities it supports - Please check it out now. And while you're there, make sure you check out the "Map of Heroes" - It's the perfect place where YOU can honor and pay tribute to your "Dog Cancer Hero" sick or healthy, living or passed.

Please sponsor me by making a tax-deductible charity donation. All donations to the "Dog Cancer Ride Across America" are managed by Giving Globally 501(c)(3) (an Oregon based 501(c)(3) non-profit that helps global charities coordinate their fundraising activities), and support 3 wonderful dog cancer charities:

1) The "Magic Bullet Fund,"

2) The "Marty Miracle Fund" - in honor of my Marty (the Wonderdog), and

3) "Best Friends Forever" - a charity project to promote dog cancer awareness and create ongoing charity fundraising opportunities.

Please, visit the Dog Cancer Ride Website (www.DogCancerRide.com) website and donate ANY AMOUNT you can - even as little as $1 - every bit helps, and every dollar is another dollar of care we can provide to a dog cancer hero out there fighting this disease.

I'm out on the road and I'll be sharing more about the ride and the dogs we're helping in the coming weeks. But for now, I hope this message finds you well - thank you for your support as we share this mission to help all of the wonderdogs out there live longer, healthier, happier lives.

Warmly,

Ted Schneck

P.S. Please take a moment now to visit The Dog Cancer Ride Website (www.DogCancerRide.com), make a donation, and learn more about the ride, the charities, and how you can help. And of course, make sure you visit the "Map of Heroes", where you can add your personal tribute to your very own "Dog Cancer Hero"

PLEASE forward this message to anyone else who may want to support the Ride, or send them to the website at www.DogCancerRide.com. Thanks.
