Hey, Kim. We did it last year and loved it! Planning on being there this year too. Been trying to find plans for or someone who sells the vertical extender pole so we can practice for that, but it's been an elusive item.
Hope to see you there. We have border collies (but are also golden retriever people at heart too).
Make sure you bring some kind of shade (EZ Up or similar) and a crate or ex-pen for your dog to rest in between splashes, and a chair for you. The crating area was under the oaks in Bartram Park, but the sun still comes through at different times of the day. You're going to have a blast (and so will your goldie!).

Does anyone know when the online registration will be opened?

Default Pensacola Redfish Cup

Hi to all~
We are thinking of entering our dog for the first time at the event. My only question is she has a lickgranuloma on her front leg. Right now we have to keep her leg wrapped with vet wrap to keep her from licking it. Does anyone think that this will be a problem? Thanks so much for the advice! Look forward to see you all!

Probably not, but a quick call to your vet to make sure is what I'd do.

Bailey's Dad:
I assume since this is wrapped that this is an open wound and if that is the case your pup would not be allowed to jump. This is actually for the safety of your pet and others.

Default I agree with Beth

Call your vet. If it's not something that could not spread to another dog get a note from him stating so. He might say it's best not to get wet. I don't know their rules. This is my first time entering. I wish you luck and the best for your dog.

We have been battling the lickglamuloma with Bailey for 2 years. She has seen numerous vets and no can seem to cure her. It's such a shame because she is a beautiful, smart dog and I think that she would be great at being a "dock dog". It's is so frustrating to see her do this to her self and lose a chance to have alot of fun at the event.Lickglamuloma is not contagious, it is pretty much a mental disorder that makes her lick her leg till she starts a wound and then she keeps licking it . Well anyway thanks for the answers to our questions and I hope you guys have a great event.
