Where has the time gone...he's already a year!

Actually if you want to get technical his birthday is the 16th I know cause I was there fretting and panicing ALL NIGHT LONG Karma is going to miss celebrating her birthday with her baby brothers. I am very sad to not be going to Cyno this year but with Nevada's injury and little Karma not being quite ready to compete I thought it best to stay home. I expect to be on the phone with Barbra lots for updates on how all my special friends and their pups are doing.

Happy Birthday to the boys from Auntie Shari and big sister Karma (kiss kiss)

Love ya all.....

LOL, so true Shari - though the litter registration says the 15th - so we'll stick w/that and just enjoy telling the story...You and the girls will be missed at Cyno but everyone knows you will be there in spirit!

As a late bloomer I will not stop my reply that I am so thankful all the injuries are not permanent. All I knew about was Nevada and I am very proud of Shari for taking those patient steps with her. Good to know she is swimming!

I am feeling worried about all of you now! I hope all injuries are continuing to heal and that all mom's have not lost it yet trying to keep those competitors down.

Miss all of you and am wishing EVERYONE good luck. Sounds like there is going to be a fierce 6' competing SV event. Dega is dreaming about it now, and will pray she is there striving for it too next year.

2010 is our goal to attend, till then please travel safe and HAVE FUN!

Gianna & Dega
Gianna... Lets make a pack right now that come 2010 Dega will most certainly be doing SV and that Nevada will heal and can compete again in SV (it's iffy for us ) but either way I am truly thankful that they are alive and well. Nevada has become a happy little house dog laying around chewing on her kong and playing by herself with her toys. She has not been swimming much as it has become cold and the cold water is not good for the leg but regardless she is doing famously 10 weeks with no limp or inflamation. Just to be safe I am still going to wait a few more weeks before I start slowly edging her back in to sports. I am one of those freaked out mom's now and panic every time I see her pick up speed faster that a trot. Eeek!!

To Barbara, Suzy and Deb.... Glad to know that your pups are healing. Keep up the good work and remember healing is always SLOW and STEADY.....

Gianna.... you still owe me a phone call

Everybody have a wonderful time at CYNO, jump big and of course most of all HAVE FUN!! and Barbra keep that phone close please.

I wondered if his B-Day was the same as the other pups I am sure that that is not the first time it has ever happened with pups being born. Majority won out so he gets the same B-Day as his brothers and sisters who came before him. Hehehe kinda like people or pups born in a leap year.

Oh yes... I will most certainly be there in spirit AND ON THE PHONE WITH BARBRA... Hehehe do you think she gets the point now that I have said it a million times

I will so miss being there but "sh*t happens" and you just gotta go with the flow. Ho hum!!! I will say again though. I am SO THANKFUL that Nevada is healthy and this injury in not life threatening. I think my patience will win out in the end and Nevada and I can be back up on that dock again someday entertaining and doing what we both love.

Thanks Sheri!

Tess has "been through the mill" With CT Scans, Bone Scans, etc., etc. Been keeping her low for awhile now. She won't have her surgery for another 2 weeks. HOWEVER, the CT Scan showed a very mild case (she has a fragmented coroniod) so the prognosis is very good. Yes, the healing is slow. But, she's being really good about it. I'm like you though - "a freaked out mom!" Constantly got my eyes on her and watching every move she makes!

Thanks for your concern and good wishes. I send them back to you and Nevada! I think all of us should organize a "healing party" to celebrate when all of our doggies are better! ;-)

Absolutely... although I will need to keep snarly butt Nevada away from the other pups. I have a new friend too that I met through the CM forum. She has an Aussie that tore her CCL at 5 months old Jewelz is now over a year old healed and learning herding. Linda healed her without surgery through Conservative Management just like I am doing with Nevada. We are going to plan a CM party once Nevada is healed.

Ahhhh I can so relate to the watchful eye...... Poor Nevada can't make a move without Mom telling her what to do. Thankfully she is so well behaved that she has learned what she is allowed to do and what she can't.

Wish Tess could heal without the surgery too but I know what she has is different than Nevada's injury. I do think you could benefit greatly from the CM forum during Tess's recovery. You should check it out. I posted a link to the site in an earlier post but here it is again for easy reference.

Good luck and keep us informed with Tess's recovery.

Well another team Utah will be going and might even be attempting some jumps but it's not certain yet.
Just add Blink to the infirmary pool. He has not had any good jumps since spring when his seizures flared up. The rear is going and he has a hard time with the take off.
He still gets into it, so I might enter him just so can go in for some of his latest 'nose diving' jumps.
