Default ??Which January event to hit??

I see people talking about the SanDiego event Jan. 4-7th.
And I notice one Jan.18-21st in Sacromento... I will be bringing the clan to one or the other it is just figuring out which one to hit!!
Any input from those that have been to the previous ones would be helpful.
Sacramento is the favorite so far since it is pretty much my home town.(Roseville, Folsom, granitebay,,elkgrove, Rio Linda) were the main neighborhoods. Never had the pleasure of growing up in one house..

All I know is I will not miss another southern event to stay up here and play in the mud!!

San Diego won't be as cold.

This will be an indoor event.

This will be first time done at the boat show.

Gunner, Twiztid and I will be trying to make San Diego as well in January. Things may fall into place for another TTT get together!

I believe the Sacramento event is outdoors - which last year seemed a little hard on some dogs - like mine (not enough fat to keep him warm). But, who know's I saw that pic of Kona in the water with ice and it didn't seem to phase him...

From what I remember it doesn't get really cold in Sacramento.
I lived in the area for roughly 14+ yrs. and remember one time in about the 4th grade we lived next to the Gibson Ranch and it actually snowed about an inch and a half.
We have already been in the upper 20's here a few times . Anything above 45-50 degrees is summer time in January.
No decisions made yet.
Don't know if any of you remember OZ from Diamond lake.. The boys and I will be doing a back country ski & Snowmobile trip with him sometime in January. He took BO's pup (now known as Drake) and in exchange we get some fun in the snow!!!! And get to visit friends!!
Drake (Bo's son) at 9 months old was as big as BOcephus is!!!
Please keep the feed back on the events coming. I need help making this mind up!!!
Jim & Sandra We will one way or the other see you in January!!
Urs, I am real sorry I didn't make it down after saying I would
Promise it will not be a reoccurring thing!!!

All right,
I'm going to go out on a limb here and commit to one of the wonderful sounding sunny California events in January. After much deliberation we are going to plan on traveling to San Diego. Hope to see everybody there.
