Default Rainbow Bridge

Last night team "Double Trouble" lost their mascot, Laddie, our 13 year old sheltie. We were in Medford for the day and got home around 7:00 last night. Laddie had spent the day at home. He appeared fine when we got home but turned his nose up to dinner and about an hour later started vomitting and got lethargic. We ended up taking him to the emergency vet in Redding. The vet basically told us that he was dying. He was not sure why. Laddie seemed to be in a lot of pain. Because of his age and poor prognosis we opted to have him euthanized. It was a very hard decision but we did not want him to suffer. It was really hard on Kathy because she had had Laddie since a pup. On a happier note we hope everyone has a happy and prosperous new year.

Default So sorry

It's so hard when the right thing to do is the hardest thing to do. What a lucky girl she was to be a part of your family for so long. Sending love and healing thoughts your way.

Jeff and Kathy,

I am so sorry for your loss of Laddie...He was a great mascot and wonderful cheerleader for the girls. It is a shame that we are only blessed to have them in our lives for such a short time.

Godspeed Laddie....hugs to you and Kathy....
