Question I need Help finding ...

a body glove vest ...
I have been looking and have had no luck finding them. But I know they have them out there I have seen Henry and Maximus wearing one, along with a few other pups who jump.
I recently bought Tonka a neopren vest for jumping, and because they normally are for labs and retreveiors it doesn't fit Tonka all so right (To big in the shoulder area) ...
So if ANY one knows where to find one I would be grateful for the information ... Thank you ~ Deb

Default Competition Vests

Thanks Urs!

Deb, if you are looking for a neoprene vest these are not. They will help a bit, but certainly nothing like the warmth of neoprene. They're a Lycra/Spandex material. If you're still interested check out the site....

If you decide to order, you will receive a 15% discount off your order when you apply the Coupon Code: Rock

Here's some links and measurements, that might help:

Thanks Barb for posting more info and the discount offer as well.

Deb - are you wanting another neoprene or the thinner vest that has the printing done on it? I have a couple neoprenes in different sizes, S, M, you can try it at the next event if you are looking for neoprene to get the right size for her. I got lucky on the Small as not many places were selling the Small size, it is a little big on Twizzy but may fit Tonka just right. I gave Katya a Medium that fits Sheba, not sure if Tonka is smaller than her or not?

Hi ...
Thank you for the links ::thumbs up:: I am going to ordering Tonka one ...
Urs, I bought Tonka another neoprene vest and it fits her all funky around the shoulders. I was told by the guys (who owns lads & hunt) that I can cut it down to fit. But I don't want to take the chance of runeing it lol
So I thought getting one of the body gloves and her wearing it under the vest might help to keep her warm at the up coming pittsburg event lol ... Thank you, I will try the ones you have at the event. The two I bought Tonka are both Med. and they are hard to zip up, Im not sure if smalls will even go around her.
Talk to you soon, and SEE YOU SOON!! thank you again for the links ... they are a GREAT help!! ~ Deb & Tonka

Default body glove vests

You can go to the Body Glove Website and they will direct you to vendors that carry the doggie vests. The surfing dogs wear them and they are called RASHGUARDS..Hope this helps, Melinda

Default cool!

That is so cool! I've actually been wanting to make one for Kylie, getting into sewing more and more. Plus I have an embroidery machine to play with too. But I can't find a vest pattern anywhere. I did make her a fleece coat, she hates it, LOL.

Hope to see you guys in my neck of the woods soon, we miss everyone!

Can anybody recommend a neoprene vest for my lab Yo Yong? It would primarily be for flotation purposes since he tends to go underwater when he jumps.
