Any SplashDogs in the Phoenix area?

Hi all, my name's Stacy and I was wondering if any of you live in or around Phoenix Arizona?

I'm brand new to this sport.... didn't realize it actually existed....
All i know is that my 10 month old black lab loves to jump into bodies of water....
All day long he jumps into the pool... over and over and over.... and at the lake its over and over and over off the dock.

He's not particularly good at it..... but it seems to be his favorite activity [other than raiding trash cans].... so here I am.

If any of you are in my area I would love to hear from you.... find out how/where you train..... maybe get together?

Let me know, any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, I have never done this sport before but am very interested in doing so. HAve you found any info yet? I am a dog trainer and am active in many other sports.

Perhaps the best way to learn regarding the event is to come to an event.
Try to come to the Scottsdale event. There will be informative training sessions and one on one if needed. Please ask for Greg "The Voice Of Splashdogs" and I will be happy to help you

unfortunately i dont think there are any clubs in the phoenix area. however, as greg here has mentioned, there is a competition in scottsdale at the end of the month that should be a great place to learn.

in the mean time, ive continued to take my dog to the park in gilbert [cosmo] to let him practice on his own and have even met there with another member and his dog who have competed before to get some tips.

id love to set up another such meeting for the three of us and maybe start discussing the idea of starting a group for this area!
