CHASE AWAY K9 CANCER - SPEEDING TICKET RESULTS

I just got through counting and re-counting all the donations for Chase Away K9 Cancer, and you should all be very, very proud of yourselves! We raised $557.21!!!

A million thank you's to Tony, Randy, Wendy and JR. And special thanks to Greg for doing a fantastic job on the mic, letting the crowd know about Chase Away K9 Cancer, and for giving the heart-felt message about fighting canine cancer during every handler's meeting.

And thanks to everyone who helped with the speed gun:

Vince and Rhoda Gillman -- parents of our newest Jr. Handler, Seth!
Lisa Heitmiller -- who also went through the crowd collecting more than $25!
Melissa and Brian -- always, always willing to help
Kim -- who helped me hold the speeding tickets for ransom!

There were so many great stories over the weekend, and let me share a few...

Marilyn donated $200 in memory of her two pups. Please, Marilyn, get on the board and tell everyone the story you told me. Your pups deserve to be remembered, and they serve as another reason why we're trying to Chase Away K9 Cancer.

Teresa Rodney and Jazz. Wow. Jazz, who, as many of you know, is a champion in Agility, was diagnosed with cancer shortly after Cynsports. Jazz had a chemo treatment just days before jumping on Saturday. I know I teared up when Greg told their story when they were on the dock. Thank you Teresa and Jazz for showing such courage.

Jim and Sandra who ALWAYS are so generous. And did you end up adopting that little pup? I think I heard Jim say he didn't feel very masculine walking around such a LITTLE dog! But, that dog will certainly get a lot of love!

Great Job Gang, sure wish we had unlimited amount of funds so the girls & I could travel more and play Nevada your getting close to Chase's top speed, just 25 days before we lost her she spanked out one huge 38mph run not bad for a girl that unknown to us was as sick as she was :cry: . She was pretty much always in that 35+ range, heck I wonder what kind of speed she's getting now with wings :wink:
