Default Private Dock Time at Wags

First of all, I have to say how overwhelmed I am at the way Wags is shaping up this year. 4 years ago when I first approached Make-a-Wish to inquire about having a dog jumping event I absolutely had no idea what was ahead. It never ceases to amaze me just how special the Splashdog community is...how diverse and yet how like minded we all are. I want to thank each and every one of you for everything you do, not just for the Wags event, but for every event, making them so addictive for all.

We are doing a new thing this year to raise a few extra bucks for the MAW kids at the Splashdogs venue. Each morning we are auctioning off via sealed email bids private time on the dock. You and your dog (or anyone you invite) will have 100% private time on the dock for one hour. The time will run from 7:45 - 8:45 a.m. each morning. You will have free run of the place to take pictures, have private playtime with your pooch, or seriously train for competition. I came up with this idea last year after a morning TV shoot. I had about 30 minutes with Hogan on the practice dock. We jumped a few times, but mostly wresteled around and bonded...took our time to truly enjoy eachother and on a competition setup. I'll never forget the memory.

To place your bid, please send me an email at hoganflys@earthlink.net. Include your phone number, bid price, and day choice (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.) The bids close at noon on Thursday, July 5. We will be taking one bid for each morning. The bid amount will be kept confidential.

This program is a pilot program that we are hoping to replicate at the other venues in years to come. Let's have a great response and show the other venues who is the very best!

Once again, thank you all for your generous support of Wags for Wishes. With everyone working together, this year's event appears to continue the tradition of being the world's greatest dock jumping event!

Sincerely,

Mark Stuart and Hogan
