Rock Springs Update
Hey guys,
I just got back from Rock Springs, and thought I would let you know how it went. This was the very first dock diving event in Wyoming. We had very few competition dogs there. Rich and Jasper came from Co. Salix and a new dog from Utah named Koda was there. We mainly spent all of our time training new people from Wyoming. Two amazing first timers showed up: Josh and Spaz, and Bob and Bow. Both teams jumped well over 20' in the finals. Watch out for these three dogs, they're going to be big.. The fair was great, as was the crowd turnout. We jumped for 100-200 people every single wave. I was announcing so Christy handled Salix for the first time and did a tremendous job. The final four were: Salix and Christy 25'4" Joe and Koda 24'ish Rich and Jasper 23'ish Josh and Spaz 21ish Splash Dogs got a tremendous response from the people of Wyoming. We hope they will have us back.

It was a great event, David did a great job announcing and Christy made Salix fly. It was a whole lotta fun plus all the handlers and dogs were just as friendly and helpful as could be.
Many thanks to SplashDogs, David and Christy for the invite and training and also Rich for his tips to help a newbie out. Now just gotta work on Koda's sit stay and we will be really rockin' Thanks again, Joe & Koda
