Default Registration now open for Auburn and Nebraska

Online registration is now open for the Auburn Bone-A-Fit Sept 14-16 and the Missouri River Outdoor Expo in Ponca, NE Sept 22-23.

One minor change on the Auburn schedule (the website should be updated shortly):
Sunday
---------
Open dock at 8am
Wave 7: 9:30am (half hour earlier)
JH and Lap Dog Finals at 12:30pm
Open Finals at 1pm
Pro Finals at 2pm

Auburn will be a full event - please pre-register to ensure your spot in the waves! Also, tell all your midwestern friends about the Nebraska event!

Registration will soon be available for the Pittsburg Seafood Festival and the Bass Pro Shop in Olathe, Kansas. We're working out some last minute schedule details with the events.

Question Motel 6 - Auburn

Hey all,

Have any of you stayed at Motel 6 with more than one dog? Their policy states "one well behaved dog per room" - well, we don't want to get two rooms just because we have 2 dogs. Thought I'd ask the forum before asking the motel about it...don't want to raise any flags that there are 2 dogs when there's only supposed to be 1. If both dogs were the same color we could get away with it.... but a champagne lab and a black lab? I don't think we could pull it off!

Also, as Motel 6 is already a discounted motel, I assume there are no additional discounts associated with the event? Or perhaps because they know there is a dog event, they may adapt the rules to accommodate us?

Thanks for any info,

Leslie & Buck

I have heard the motel is a pretty good Motel 6 as far as they go. I also know that other people have taken more than one dog even more than two. So I really would not worry about it That motel books up early so you want to reserve as soon as possible. There are no discounts for Splash Dogs at this motel and no dog charges but it is by far the cheapest! Hope this helps. Have you been to our Auburn event before? The waves are typically very full in June we were running about 45-55 dogs a wave! So make sure you register early, I don't think I've seen your registration yet. If I can offer any other help feel free to contact me directly at 530.887.9993 (Sandra & Jim)

We've just made our reservation for the motel, so that is set! Thanks for the inside info! Never been to this event - we're newbies and this will be our 3rd official event!
We'll be sending in our registrations shortly!
Many thanks!
