Who's going to Pittsburg?

Who is heading to Pittsburg this weekend? Jim, MickeyD and I will be. I also heard from Barbara Darrow who will also be heading down from Redding. This was alot of fun last year...can't wait to see everyone.

Me and my Gunner man will be there! Also a few new faces from the Bay Area Dock Dogs club will be there as well trying their first official Splash Dog Event!

Can't wait to be able to hang around this time - no flyball to pull us away!

I am interested in bringing my dog to the event in Pittsburg on Saturday.

I understand there are waves that I can enter, but I do not understand if one wave qualifies you for the next, or if it is just a time of day thing.

Can anyone let me know which is the best thing to do here?

I appreciate any response and really look forward to seeing what my pup can do. He sure likes being airborne off the jumping rock shelves in Princeton Harbor. :shock:

Hi Karen:
Each Wave is separate. You can enter as many as you like. Also each dog gets a ribbon, it doesn't matter if they jump a foot! It's all about the dogs jumping, they simply love it! You will get a big kick out of it. There are many people that will help you if this is your first time. Please come up and introduce yourself. My name is Sandra Stewart and our dogs name is MickeyD. I must warn you though this is very addicting! :lol:

I don't know how well he'll do. He's been jumping every day for the last three month that I've owned him, but it's been in a natural setting.

So, when I bring him, I guess I'll just enter him in one of the heats and see how well he handles a man made dock.

Looking forward to meeting all of you and most of all, just having some fun. I don't think there is a labradoodle out there jumping, so I hope someone will borrow my camera and take some pictures.
