Concert to benefit Rescue in Orlando, FL 3/14

This is right up the road from me. We still call Avalon "the new light" as the latest traffic light added to the area. There are now four lights between home and the Expressway. Is this only benefitting the two listed on the flyer? I never heard of either one. To my knowledge there is nothing local. Let me know if you know anything. Unfortunately, that is short notice, and I'll have to double-check, but my son nearly always has something going on.... But I love a good cause...especially local at that cost.

This would have been a really nice event if not for the rain. I took two of my "strays" and Superior Mutts is going to post their pictures on their website. Hopefully we'll get some interest. The two we took were nervous as they are not terribly socialized, but settled down nicely and made a good impression with no aggression toward the other dogs...they've not had encounters with "strange" dogs until last night. But we were rained out.... The event continued, but with the baby...we had no choice. The proceeds were partially toward surgery for a four month old puppy named Poncho who was out there to meet the public.
